PVC Schedule 40 Pipe is designed for pressure systems with a maximum temperature of 140°F. It is highly resilient, boasting high-tensile and high-impact strength. Compared to PVC Schedule 40 DWV Foam Core and ABS Foam Core, PVC Schedule 40 has superior sound deadening capabilities. To install, primer and solvent cement must be used. Meets standards: ASTM D 1784, ASTM D 1785, and NSF standards 14 and 61. White pipe with red print is suitable for potable water applications only. Maximum working pressure of 480 psi at 23°C or 73°F. Meant for pressure use with a maximum working temperature of 140°F. Ideal for applications such as irrigation, underground sprinkler systems, swim pools, outdoor use, and cold water supply lines. No special tools required for cutting and installation, only solvent cement.
