NEMAforce™ SC for Gnat Control

NEMAforce™ SC (Steinernema carpocapsae) are naturally-occurring parasitic nematodes that prevent and control larval stages of shore flies and other ornamental and turf pests. Released in their juvenile infective stage, they search out and enter insect pests. Once the nematodes have entered their prey, they release a symbiotic bacteria that quickly kills the targeted insects.

NEMAforce SC works quickly to control pest populations and are persistent in the soil, providing prolonged protection against pests. Additionally, these nematodes have no adverse effects on beneficial insects and other soil microorganisms. This species is highly effective against shore fly larvae, cutworms, billbugs, flea larvae, and other surface-active pests, with optimal performance in soil temperatures between 57° and 84°F.
